Together with our partner, Ascendis Pharma, one of the leading biopharmaceutical companies dedicated to transforming patient outcomes through innovative therapies with headquarters in Copenhagen, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst (m/f/d) to strengthen the IT in cooperation with the research laboratory teams in Heidelberg with a flexible home office arrangement.

The specially developed TransCon technology is used here to improve the efficacy of therapeutic substances and reduce the risk of use, with a particular focus on patients with rare diseases. As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as the point of contact between IT and the laboratories to further develop the IT systems.

Aufgaben
Your tasks
- You will implement solutions to facilitate data-driven processes, automation, and AI within the lab environment
- You will work together with scientists to understand their requirements, optimize current technologies, and introduce new tools in collaboration with external service providers as needed
- You equip lab personnel through training with the knowledge to utilize lab applications effectively, ensuring maximum efficiency and ease of use
- You work alongside global IT teams (especially Copenhagen) to ensure seamless integration of lab solutions with broader IT offerings, enhancing functionality for lab-users

Your profile
- Strong understanding of IT systems, data management, and digital tools to support business processes, ideally in a highly regulated environment
- Ability to assess business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and design effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and train end users
- Strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to identify areas for improvement and deliver practical, innovative solutions
- Fluency in German and English
